I’ve taken my Augmented Reality & Emerging Technologies presentation, and serialized it into six video episodes. The second of which is featured above. The following four episodes have been animated and scripted. They will be released in sequence as I complete the voice-over.

On December 9, 1968, Douglas Engelbart and his team from Stanford Research Institute’s Augmentation Research Center gave a 90 minute presentation on the future of computing. Some things first introduced to the public included the mouse, the graphical user interface, video conferencing, and the unveiling of the ArpaNet (predecessor to the internet).

Great videopost! I agree with the growing market in AR for PoS and in 'mixed media'.. (digital media channels in our reality, with augmentation, virtualization by for example holographic projections, and hands on contact with digital media via multitouch etc etc.)
